Engr. Alvin E. Retamar

Engr. Alvin E. Retamar is the current Chief Science Research Specialist (SRS) of the Solutions and Services Engineering Division of DOST-Advanced Science and Technology Institite (ASTI). Among the relevant space-related projects under his leadership include the Philippine Earth Data Resource and Observation (PEDRO) Center and the Ground Receiving Station (GRS) for the PHL-Microsat Program. He is also the current project leader of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Automatic Identification System (AIS) for Innovative Terrestrial Monitoring and Maritime Surveillance Project.
